Focus on providing art learning with S.T.E.M to young learners, fostering all-rounded development for children to grow academically, cognitively, in social emotionality and honing their motor skills.
To us, every child is a capable; every child is a unique explorer, with different strengths and different learning styles. The program enables the child to learn in a fun, experiential and creative manner by exploring and gaining exposure to a wide variety and diversity of disciplines. They are crafted to enrich the child’s total learning experience by employing the different art forms, mediums and styles in visual art expression. The program not only to strengthen the child’s art skills but also enhance the child’s inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking skills.
Efforts are also made to include learners with special needs to learn and experience the joy of art making in a typical class. We sought to connect different groups of people from various communities to create awareness of inclusiveness for people with special needs and the elderly living with dementia in our society.
我们是新加坡首家采用STEM来进行艺术教学，着重促进儿童的全面发展，使其在社交情商和运动技能方面，有学术性的，实质性的成长。
在传统的STEM（科学，技术，工程和数学）概念中添加“艺术”，我们创建了STEAM，并将此框架纳入我们的教学理念。以此，我们着重在通过实验和探索激发好奇心，科学探究和理解。
对我们来说，每个孩子都是有能力的，每个孩子都是一个独特的探索者，具有不同的长处和不同的学习方式。
我们的课程是通过探索及各式各样的训练，使孩子能够有趣地，有体验感和创新的方式学习。课程设计的主旨在于通过视觉艺术表达，采用不同的艺术形式，媒材和风格来丰富孩子的学习经验。该课程不仅可以增强孩子的艺术能力，而且可以增强孩子的提问，对话和批判性思考的能力。
我们希望并努力让有特殊需要的学习者在典型的课堂上学习和体验艺术创作的乐趣。我们也试图将来自不同社区的不同人群联系起来，以提高对社会中有特殊需要的人士和患有痴呆症的老年人的包容与意知。

SDB Art Space is set up as a social enterprise to empower ‘Differently Bestowed Artists’. Differently Bestowed (DB) is a term aims to project a positive notion and recognises their rightful talents on a par with other practitioners in our Singapore art community.
We’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2000, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!

Differently Bestowed Artists
Committed To The Social Cause Of Art Transforming Lives
THIS PLATFORM is dedicated to the numerous creative young aspiring painters whose artworks will otherwise go largely unnoticed. They belong to a socially-challenged group often called ‘artists with disabilities’.
Here @SDB Art Space, we recognise them as ‘Differently Bestowed’ individuals, a positive term which is true in the real sense, as they can be as artistically creative as anyone else. Many may not grow up to be artists in an environment lacking sustainable opportunities to promote their artworks and find buyers.
SDB is a ‘Space for the Differently Bestowed’ artists. We create openings where they are able to showcase and sell artworks towards nurturing their artistic dream of becoming excellent talents comparable to other practitioners in the Singapore art community.
They mostly need some masterly guidance to bring out the shining gem in them, so, as a deep sign of admiration and gratitude, we feature their respective untiring mentors, too. Please kindly read through each CV, appreciate the paintings and realise the collective artistic potential.
Buy the artworks to encourage and motivate them to go beyond their current selves. It is a good deed!
SDB pledges to continue helping them grow in life as worthy artists in their own right. We look forward to your strong hearty support!

这个平台专为全体抱有梦想的年少特殊天赋艺术家而成立。他们或许与你我稍有不同，但不该因此阻碍他们的美术创作天份。我们相信在正面的熏陶下有望与圈内的画家并行不悖。
艺术常被视成奢侈之物，难以维持生计。SDB Art Space 不希望才华让环境埋没及忽略，积极地提供各类画展览销售交流站。借此以便他们能自食其力，有更多机缘增加公众对每幅作品的接触，从观赏买卖过程中认识到知音。
大致上他们都需要前辈的辅助发展潜能，本团很荣幸招来些热心不倦的好导师，敬请您抽出宝贵的时间赏阅作品和简介。
